The 'Music on Screen' team was commissioned in January by Annette Clarke and Chris Powell at Endemol to record a new 'Afro' arrangement of the successful 'Animal Park' theme.
This new theme is for the spin-off series 'Wild in Africa' for transmission on BBC 1 in 2005.

City Hospital' returned this year to BBC1 Daytime.
This successful series has been an important part of BBC1's daytime schedule since 1998. The team have recently provided a new music package for programme makers Topical TV.

This is Simon and Simon's 4th Library album for KPM Music, and is now available to producers, directors and editors on CD and online.
This new album features a wide range of contemporary beds and underscores that, like a chameleon, are adaptable and versatile. KPM's brief was to be exciting but not intrusive !
The team are working on some new tracks for another KPM project to be mastered later in the year.

The Celtic Tenors recorded two Brant / Lockyer / May songs "Non Siamo Isole" (featuring Brian Kennedy) and "I Will Never Let Go". Both are featured on their recent album.
The Celtic Tenors embarked on a major tour in America this year which greatly enhanced their overseas album sales.

Brian Kennedy recorded the Brant / Lockyer / May song 'Non Siamo Isole' which is featured on his album 'Red Sails in the Sunset' released by Curb Records (Catalogue no.CURCD 160 ).
This classical cross-over recording also features The Celtic Tenors and has been described as a "true highlight" of the album.

Brat Camp (Channel 4 / Twenty Twenty Television) won an Emmy and also a UK Broadcasts Award this year.
The Music on Screen Team are proud to have created the music package for series one and recently completed a new music package for Jamie Isaacs and Sue Robinson to be used on series two.

The Music on Screen Team completed a new titles and incidental music package for 'Animal Park' series 6 to be shown later this year on BBC 1 and BBC 2.
Unlike the new arrangement of 'Animal Park' for the programme 'Wild In Africa' in which the main theme is heavily disguised by Afro sounds, the new version for Animal Park 6 retains the big classical sound of the original theme. M.O.S. finished composing some of the tracks for a new KPM Music Library project involving many of the other top KPM writers.
The project is a comprehensive collection of pieces that can be used on Awards nights and presentation events.

Kingston Grammar School staged a new production of 'Smike' to celebrate the opening of their new Performing Arts Centre.
Her Majesty The Queen officially opened the Centre on November 4th and Simon had the honour of presenting a short excerpt of his musical 'Smike' to The Queen.
'Smike!' has been performed thousands of times in the UK and televised on BBC 1 since its premiere at Kingston Grammar School IN 1973 !
The new production ran from December 6-10 December (directed by Maggie Hannan). One of the guests to see a special Gala Night performance was 'Magic' Radio DJ Neil Fox who was one of the original cast over 30 years ago.
